Ziggy Marley's "Wild and Free" Tour landed in Washington, DC June 13, 2012 the day before the official Album Release. The newly and beautifully renovated Howard Theatre was a perfect

and suitable venue for Reggae Royalty's eldest son. The Howard Theatre is gorgeous inside and it's staff is top notch professionals. (Shout out to A.J. Medley -House Manager, for graciously accomodating TheReggaeVibe team) Ziggy opened the show on a spiritually charged vibration. Taking everyone to church for the first set. I hadn't seen Ziggy live in years and was amazed at the musical power he exhibited. He performed an array of his older hits from "Tomorrow's People" to "Look Who's Dancing"  including many of Bob's classic tunes. The vibe was all love in the theatre that Wednesday evening. He appropriately ended the evening with a strong message for the people to carry home with them, "Love is My Religion."  Rastafari light, still shining bright!
